Default Launch control on TullosTech EBC

I was reading a post on HT last night and recall people talking about problems launching who run big boost.
One of the guys said he just setup a low boost and a high boost for launch control... then switched after he shifted.

Now what I was thinking of adding is an optional built in feature for tullostech boost controller.

All it would do would find out when your idling, then assume your in first gear and if enabled with the software configuration the boost controller would only give you the amount of boost from first gear.

So you still have high boost and low boost, and the option to for launch control.

I'm open to ideas to improve this feature or problems enabled with this method.

Lots of people try this. I'm hopefully tossing on my 5.5 psi wastegate, my MBC and my Solenoid setup tomorrow to switch between 5.5 and 9 psi.

If it is an option that could simple be written into your software, and the control via a 2 position switch or some sort of gear sensor, mph sensor or such why not give people the option.

1 more selling feature of your product!!!

yeah. or different ways to setup highboost and low boost. like at wot it would open up ighboost. but not at wot it wouldnt boost but a certain psi. or rpm boost targets. like have a simple table with the rpms and the desired boost levels. ps make it read up to 20k rpms.

If you really wanted to get fancy/do it right you could look at the speedo pulse frequency/rpm ratio and calculate what gear your in. Then you could setup you boost to be gear or speed specific.

I like that idea. Gradual boost. Make some type of linear function with rpm and speed as variables. That'd be pretty bad ***.
