I was thinking about buying a bike.. 97 honda CBR600 f3..and postponing my engine build.. I just wanted to know what you guys think..a crx making hopefully around 300 on 16-20 psi or a bike

 

You're going to get people arguing back and forth here.. but if you want the CBR, get it! Those are great bikes. I'd get the bike then work on the engine with the spare money you have.

 

I think my avatar should give you my opinion. Bikes rule. Love my honda too though. Gotta have both.

 

yea..i'd love a bike..the insurance would be a bit expensive but i'm sure i could deal with it... this is the bike i was looking at..nothing fancy http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...561629147&rd=1 i still haven't decided..i leave the end of the year for the airforce so i have to figure out how much money i will have..

The CBR F3 is a starter bike we guys call them a gilie bikes. Having said that the CBR 600s are one of the worlds best bikes.

If this is your fist bike its go for it man.
I didnt like it much.
If it was me Id buy an old GSXR1100 (Arround same price).
The F3 and the F4i seem totally dead below 8000 RPM.
Its like an on off switch.
The LTR class bike though more powerfull are easier to ride if you ask me.
As the power is more lenier.

 

if you already have a car get a bike if you dont like it sell it at the end of the season. but yeah cbrs are abd ***
