ok, so sorry to sound so noob again, but i took off all the bolts and everything, and the oil pan just wont come off. i am pulling and pullin on it and it wont come off at all. any ideas?

 

Haynes manual says to hit it with a rubber hammer to loosen the hold. read up if you got one.

 

that seal can get tight, but you probly missed a bolt or two. its shold come right off

 

nope, didnt miss any bolts. but i do have a rubber sledge hammer. hopefully i dont hit it too hard. ill try that right now.

 

make sure the two bolts hidden inside the flywheel cover is ff.

 

I made this mistake

 

yea they were off, i just had to pry it off with a flathead screwdriver. the seal was pretty tight. but it came off once i pryed it. i already tapped it and everything. just waitin for my jb weld to come home (in my dad's van) then back on she goes.

on my 97 hatch the oil pan was a bitch took me an hour.. with scewdriver prying .. then she gave . pain the *** tho

 

please say you are tapping the pan and not trying to JB weld it back on.
