Default volvo t3...bolts up but will leak do to weird flange/manifold design

i just exchanged my saab turbo for this volvo turbo...the ar's are the same
but somehow my saab had a t25 flange...but to the point...the volvo on the
other hand bolts up to the t3 manifold that i have but it has a special design on the flange
that bolts up to the stock manifold(sort of like the dsm turbos)...has anybody come across
this problem with the volvo t3...need help to solve the weird flange design...

is it like a t3 flange with like a round part? if so, id weld the part on the sides if it is what i think, weld those parts, grind em donw a bit then get the flange resurfaced, thats what my friend had to do, it leaked out the sides cuz of the weird oval patern on the inside of the t3 flange. i dont like those or chrystler flanges.

he did it for free, i did it for him, welded it up, and resurfaced it at my work. it would cost like 35-90 most liky at a shop, i used a mig on medium heat so it dosent crack, but will penatrate, its been working for like 8mo now, i could do this for you, but at a cost

I have the same turbo. I had it milled/shaved down flat for like $40. No more unever round thing in the middle. Someone esle used like high-temperature epoxy or something. I'm curious how well it holds.

the volvo is a regular t3 flange, just like the saab. the chrysler has the goofy flange. like someone suggested, weld the ---- out of it. or get a new flange made.
