hey guys i have a mani thats has a flage for a rhb5 turbo someone had said they came off thunderbirds so i went to the junkyard and they had a motor sittin there it was a 2.3L ford motor so i think it came out of a thunderbird anyways what turbo is this cause it didnt bolt up to my rhb5 turbo mani and is this a good turbo or not it looked tiny

if it said ihi on it it a ihi-rhb5, latter thunderbird came with these tiny thing, the older thunderbirds have the t3.60/.63 or .48/.60. They are tiny turbos

if so its a RHB52w

 

the ihi's off the thunderbirds is a .48/.52

.60/.48 and .60/.63's are the gerrets
