Default How to clean the turbo housing?

hey guys..i just bought a turbo , intercooler, and BOV
they are really greasy
so i bought the HEAVY DUTY ENGINE DEGREASER to wash it..
are there any parts of the turbo where i should cover up?
i dont' wanna damage the thing..just wanna clean the outside...
let me know...

i used to think you should cover up the holes when u use degreaser on a turbo but i was wrong. there are no rubber parts that can melt or anything. spray the entire thing down.

just cover up oil holes.

so the fins will be ok if spray them too?

is a wire brush attachment for my dremmel ok to use on the cast iron collector housing?
