I'm looking for a good/cheap catch can and I came accross this one for like $10 shipped...



What do you think about that one? What is that filter for? I never saw a catch can with a filter on it before.

If the filter isnt supposed to be tehre I can always cover the hole for it, but would this be a good can for my FI setup?

well, isnt onehose supposed to be connected to teh valve cover and the other hose to teh IM? The baffles in teh can catch the oil to prevent detonation. so, if I hook it up this way should I just block off the filter I'm a littel confused by that filter. Most I have seen dont have a filter...

Yeah I'm also thiniking about getting a catchcan setup for my LS. I plan on running 8psi daily and 11-12 on weekends. I want this to make power but be very reliable as well.

Where did you find that for 10shipped? Heck I think I'd buy one for a little extra piece of mind, and not blowing a headgasket.

Can someone help me out please and answer my last question?

 

The filter is to vent the air back into the atmosphere but not with the oil. It is supposed to be there.
