tranny on its last leg?

Default tranny on its last leg?

my tranny is starting to make weird noises first gear it doent whiem more like a clatter 2nd it goes donw alittle and then 3 4 5 u can barely hear it

how do I check the fluid??

guess its bout go go

it drives perfect shifts perfect

Input shaft bearing GONE.

Adding fluid not gonna help now!!!!!!!

1236 to the exact mileage. Seriously though not long. Oh and you just cant check fluid in a honda 5 spd trans just drain it and add more or just add more oil

that will wipe out the clutch.......when the ISB gets that bad the seal is ineffective. Extra fluid flow past the seal onto the clutch disc.......car goes nowhere!

so far thats not the case the cluth grips real real good and its been doin this for weeks now, Could it possibly anything else in there

1st its kinda loud 2nd barely hear it and 345 its inaudible

its the ISB, MAYBE if you fix it now you can save the tranny.............

if not, drive it till it explodes then cry about wanting another one..........



then cutting out the outer race...........



You can pay a little now, or ALOT later!

wow damn dude

its not a little now its more like $450 in labot to tear it down

a local has a dx tranny that will work im thinking of attempting to swap em out

is this something a beginner can do?

Ive worked on novas but not a honda sensors and such may be forgotten about lol

since its a D-series trans just let the ****** explode then fix it
