well since summer is pretty much here, ive noticed that my car gets VERY hot inside! for some reason my dash blows hot air all the time, even when the heater is off. What can be the probelm?

 

Try messing with your controls. Mine does the same thing and if I turn it to recirculation, it's not as bad (or something).

I just open the windows and deal with it.

 

Try to manually close the heater control valve on the firewall with your hand. The linkage for your climate control setup might be a little janky, and not closing it all the way.

 

1. is the dial still on hot? turn it to cold.
2. turn it to recirculation
3. turn the vent to windshield, then press two at a time softly so none get selected.

then check the actual coolant valve located in this pic. make sure its completely closed when the temp dial is all the way to cold.
