Default homemade catch can users, what type of baffle?

wondering what materials you've used to baffle home made catch cans?

dont know what "baffle" is but im assumin its type of homemade catcan if so dude, who cares? its just a damn catch can! use a soda bottle, pvc/abs pipe, pill bottle, kettle, ANYTHING you can even walk into home depot with about $10-15 and walk out with a nice HMT catch can that will look decent

he's talking about the baffle material inside. i think a few people use steel wool

ya i was just thinkn about it, but ive read you shouldent use steel wool tho i never used anyhing in mine and had no problems

I put steelwool in mine. maybe stainless or copper dishwashing pads would be better.

is this on the top the inlet and the outlet? if so how does that work? wouldnt it just suck out the oil the catch can is suppose to catch in the first place?

more than likely, that's the bottom, and it's the drain back.
