Badass SCCA Touring Car - Family Friend (9pics)
This belongs to Joe Hermes (well, it did when i took these pics years ago. He started with a 96 z28, then moved to two of these (this one had an in car fire) and he turned and sold it for $45K, now he's back to a camaro again) who is the neighbor to my brother-in-law's parents. We did some cage work for him in his old camaro at one time.
This car and its twin both cost $80K to build. Freakin insane.
Anyways, stumbled across pictures and thought I'd post em.

$160K minus Nissan Sponsorship = $0K. While he was in charge of actually getting the vehicles built, he didnt fork over a cent. Both of the Spec-V's were magazine/jd power type test cars, and had about 600 miles on them all track time. The tires at 600 miles were completely wasted.
Anyone happen to notice the authentic Nismo Wheels?

its great hearing stories about how he almost put a g35 into a wall on an oval track.
