I picked up an audi External a couple weeks ago and was going to use it on the Civic, but then decided to turbo the GTP instead...

This 30mm WG probably won't cut it will it?

i REALLY like the Tial 44mm with V-band..DROOL.. but damn lots of $$

 

alex in houstons post listed audi wastegates as 38mm, not 30mm.

Maybe I will take it to work and measure it with some calipers.

I never measured the outlet of this WG, that might be 38mm...but that's not really what matters..right?

 

well 30mm/38mm or not... its probly gonna be cuttin it close. i say just try and find a nice used tial 40mm/45mm or save up for a new one..

 

definitely 30mm, i have the same one sitting here too.

 

It will work....Porsche uses it on some of it's turbo cars. And a lot of people make well over 400hp with that wastegate on them porsches.

if you already got it, you may as well try it. awesome to see that all these people are using the audi gate now. i think it looks awesome, i like the look of a huge ------- wastegate as opposed to those little turbonetics ones, can you buy that dumptube mine didnt come with one, my flange is also fucked up though

 

what's so spcial about them audi wg's anyway?
