I just got the ps2 hard drive, what is the program that i need to be able to save it to the hard drive, i download a program called HD Loader from LimeWire but i don't now how to use it.

i recently downloaded the hdl from limewire, and it has a bin file, a cue file. I used alcohol 120%to burn it on to a cd. I read the faq, but im a bit confused.
I have no mod chip nor the actual hdl or hd advance discs. What are the steps involved once you burn the disc? I do have a gameshark discs for both ps2 and ps1. All i want to do is copy ps2 games into my ps2 hdd? Another thing when i burn it to alcohol and go to try it out do i need to put hdl in the memory card or the harddrive? How do I go about doing that loading the gameshark disc? Thanks.

when you use hd advance or hd loader, you put the disc into the tray, and let it load. it should format your hard drive. after that, you can copy games in the menu that will load. the hd loader disc needs to be in the drive every time you start the ps2. http://www.ps2hd.com/

^^^ thanks for the help and i read the forums. Now after i burned the hd loader into a cdr using nero, i put the newly burned disc into the ps2 and got that message "insert ps2 format disc". I burned the program like if how you would burn the independence compiler program. Did i burn this program right or wrong?
