Default boost ecu chip

Does anyone make a chip that reads boost for an obd 0 ecu (PR3 or PW0) for a b16.
If not does anyone make a chip that just retards timing so I can run the Vafc hack and 450cc injectors. I know these questions are a pain in the *** but any help would be great because I want to order everything today so I can start this project. Thanks alot guys.

OK, who can give me the, oh, seventeen reasons I'm coming up with offhand, NOT to buy a chip from that company?

How about you buy a chip burner and I kick you the PR3 program I have laying on my HD? I can splice those maps to a PW0 if needed.

I'd hate to see you gigged for a chip, but quite honestly I always have problems getting to shipping stuff. Emailing a 32 kb file and letting you worry about it is so much easier

That sounds like a great idea. I was considering buying a chip burner but thats something I really don't know much about. Question about the chip burner thing cause I'm not to great with computers. Is it just like a peripheral you plug into a computer then you use softwasre to transfer the program to the chip. Also does it come with the software to burn the program onto the chip, and does it come with the software to write or modify you fuel and timing maps.
Oh and I do have the PW0 I just checked.
Thanks alot for the help man I really appreciate it.
And if you want a few bucks for the program no problem.

Any one know anything about these chip burners or programs. I theres a place called batronix that sells them but I wouldn't know how to use it. I'd definitly buy one if someone could tell me how it works and where to get or how to make the programs.
thanks

A chip burner is about as hard to use as a CD-R. Easier, even.

The hard part is desoldering the old chip from the ECU, This only really applies to OBD0, because OBD1 just has a few empty holes you have to suck a little solder out of. Get some old scrap electronics and practice desoldering the multi-pin chips. You'll tear up a couple boards before you get a good feel for it.

My soldering skills are pretty good (I've been doing it since I was 12) so I'm not too worried about that. So Is there anyway you could send that file for the PW0 cparis1@uic.edu that would be great man. Thanks alot for the help.
