jdm ecu chipping

Default jdm ecu chipping

i have read three different websites that say to chip the p08 all you need to do is solder in the socket jump j1 and add the 74hc.... chip to its appropriate place. any input would be great.

the c50 c49 c92 locations already have some sort of connection on my ecu. That is the main question i have. i am wondering if i should desolder those existing connections on mine and put in resistors.

Resistors are not Capacitors. Do not use the wrong components as you risk damage to the board and your EEPROM.
