Default wastegate problem ......help a girl out

I have just finished installing a custom turbo onto my 98 civic dx. Which way do you bend wastegate to restrict how much boost is allowed. The turbo boosts 14-15 psi........ trying to get down to 5-7 psi. Please someone help.

why don't you buy a manual booost controller of ebay for like 12.00? much easier than trying to modify your wastegate actuator. Hey i have a 98 civic ex i am turboing right now. what form of engine management are you using? I am having problems frinding a lot for our obd2 computers

mbc can only raise the pressure, not lower it. do like ghetto turbo and lengthen the rod with spacers on the wastegate actuator brackets, or cutting and threading an extension into the rod or something of the like....

I don't have any pictures of my car period. As soon as I get everything painted and pretty , as well as running right which should be about 2 weeks or so. I will send pictures of my setup and maybe one of myself. Nothing pornographic!!

Thanks for all of your help and feedback. Hope you can help me again if i have a problem.
