Default DOHC ZC Head On D15

I never heard about anybody doing this, but is it possible to put a DOHC ZC head on a D15b bottom?

There is someone on this site that did it.
You'll have to make some new head bolt holes and the head gasket won't match perfectly but it worked.

yes you can do it with custom fabrication work.

but why? I hear those heads fit great on ZC blocks.

lol, I know, but i just wanted to try something new on my d15. Something that didn't require much work to fit.

why even mess with a extra cam? Only a power robber due to the added friction!

The time AND energy wasted trying to get it to fit onto the D15 block could be well spent on a NICE SOHC cam and valvesprings.

I'm all about to low buck or FREE! buildup!

Just look at the D15B8 block I'm building.

why? because its easier to make power with 2 cams than one... and cheaper.

in this case no, swapping a zc head on a d15 block is not a very good route, lots of fab work and not work the time.

Just boost it...it's a easier. And you canl make much more power then the rod's can handle

.
I thought the added cam had a total of less friction due to it's inherint efficient direct valvetrain.
