H22 weight issue in a CRX... true or false? how much do they weigh really?..

Default H22 weight issue in a CRX... true or false? how much do they weigh really?..

hey im thinkin of an H22 swap into my CRX.. ive heard that its insanly fast and also heard that they are heavy.. i also have heard that they arent as heavy as everyone says, that they're only like 40 lbs heaver than a D series engine.. anyone with a CRX or a 91 hatch actually done it? hows it handle.. just like to get some input from someone whos done it. thanks

It's not really the weight issue it's putting a putting 40lbs of ---- into a 20lb sack. They fit but you'll have your work cut out for you since this ain't just some b-series swap. H/F series-EF chassis mounts are coming soon from Hasport. Look around on the Hybrid section in HT and there's some pics of them.

plenty of people have done it. they do only weigh like 40 someodd pounds more than a bseries motor. everything you need to know about putting an h22 into a crx http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=711900
