Default wiring harness problem, help needed

I have a 1991 honda civic dx 2dr hatch. The ecu connectors got cut off my harness so I pulled the harness out and am now trying to find a replacement. I pulled one from a junkyard from a 1990 civic dx 4dr, assuming it would be almost the same thing. However, there are a few connectors on it that my original harness doesnt have and my original harness has one or two that my new one doesnt. Is there any way I can put the two into one useable one? Or is the only harness I can use, is one from a 1991 2dr hatch? The harness I am referring to btw is the body harness that connects the fuse boxs, ecu, headlights, etc.

What do the plugs go to that are missing? Do you still have a dx motor in it? I did the same thing, I had a 91 civic dx 4 door that I converted to mpfi. I used a crx si harness from who knows what year. Everything worked fine. I also did the same thing in my current car, 90 crx dx with the same harness.

I dont know what the plugs go to. My 91 2dr harness has a bright blue plug, sort of down by the ecu, that the 4 dr harness doesnt have. There is also a set of 3 plugs (2 small 2 wire plugs, and a large 12 or so wire) way up under the dash on the drivers side above the foot well. They plug into some other plugs (female/male style) behind the ducting for the fresh air vent. The small plugs are the same between the two harnesses, but the big plugs are a slightly different shape. The 4dr harness also has 2 large plugs down by the ecu (bright green, and brown) that my 2dr harness doesnt have. On the car I pulled the harness from, they plugged into some "belt warning module" that was on the firewall side of the center console, on the floor behind the dash. It looked like a mini ecu.

Also you stated above that you used a crx harness in your 4 dr, were there any odd plugs or anything different about the harnesses at all? You do know that I am talking about the BODY harness and NOT the engine harness right?

I didnt notice any odd plugs, but that was years ago. I also replaced the whole harness. I just plug it in and check the major ----. Like if the motor starts. Lights that good stuff. If something doesnt work go from their. Also do me a favor check this link and try to find the plug numbers, If you can I should be able to help you more. And one more thing just plug everything in all that matters is that you have no open plugs in the car itself not the harness. http://www.crxpower.net/~silverkorn/...hop_Manual.pdf

the bright blue plug has several wires on it, at least 10 i would say. I am going to check everything out tomorrow night, maybe take some pictures and stuff. Hopefully we can figure something out.
