turboing my h23 need help
THIS IS THE DEAL IM WANTING TO TURBO CHARGE MY H23 THATS IN MY ACCORD 94 I CURRENTLY HAVE A DSM MANIFOLD , AND GREDDY BOV ,DSM 440 INJECTORS, FMU , CUSTOM INTERCOOLER AND A FRESHLY REBUILT 14B TURBO. IM ABOUT TO BUY A INTERNAL ADJUSTABLE WASTEGATE SET A 4-8 PSI AND A MISSING LINK
WHAT SHOULD BE MY NEXT STEPS?
I M THINKING I SHOULD GET THE PIPING LAID OUT FIRST.
THEN IM GOING TO HAVE HE MANIFOLD REDRILLED
I HAVE ALL THE GASKETS FOR THE TURBO BUT I DONT HAVE THE DOWNPIPE
I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT TUNING IT FOR 5 PSI AND RETARDING THE TIMING
SHOULD I USE THE DSM INJECTORS?
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED
I KNOW OIL LINES AND MISSING LINK ?
PLEASE HELP IM READY FOR BOOST

well you cant use the dsm injectors with an fmu, i say forget the ------- fmu and chip your ecu, use the dsm injectors boost like 8-9 psi and tune it on a dyno....KEEP READING NOOB AND STOP USEING CAPS THEY GIVE ME A ------- HEADACH!!!

but what will the chip do?

the chipped ecu will give you full tuneability, something you can't get with a FMU. all caps are hard on the eyes, that's why everyone is getting pissed. i think you have a lot of research to do before you're ready for boost.

anyway it really sounds like you havent spent too much time researching.... its gona REALLY help you if you know your ---- before you boost your car, its gone take you about 1-2 months of reaearch to really know what your doing
ANYWAY an fmu just sucks **** because it spikes your fuel pressure to extreme levels whitch can ---- up your motor becuase your stock injectors are like 240-280cc's ( i dont really know too much about h series) and they will be maxed out almost all of the time so your motor can run too lean, then goes boom
so if you chip your ecu you can run larger injecotrs like the dsm 450cc's the chip will control the new injecotors, you can also tune/datalog and all the goodies yourself
