Thoughts on idea, y7 head onto my z6...goin non vtak.
I always see boosted y7 setups producing really nice tq #'s.
I've always thought about what benefits would be like to changing my head to a non-vtec one would be, if any at all.
Chances are if I did this, I would probably have some headwork done, usual port and polish and valve work, perhaps some innards so I could rev it decent. Possibly a cam if I can find one thats decent.
Compression increase with this would go from a 9.2:1 to a 9.45:1.
So do you think this is a bad idea?
Examples of y7 boost results:
205whp 216wtq
D16y7 stock internals
Greddy kit
12psi
Hondata
RC440s
woo woo
