Well I've been driving around this 90 Dx hatchback I got a few months ago, its a pretty decent car. I put some black HX wheels on it, greddy exhaust but the fact it was an automatic just really bugged me.

So last week we got this trade in at our dealership. I quickly eyeballed it, it was a 93 EG Hatch. It was heavily riced out, tons of stickers, fog lights, dumped on sport springs with kinda gay looking rims. I opened the hood and was a bit shocked to see a 3g Dohc OBD1 ZC swap. I was like wow, this is pretty cool.. I wonder how much they want for it? So I started talking to the sales managers and found we took it in dirt cheap! My boss said he'd let it go for 850 + tax and license, so it was around a grand after all said and done. So yesterday I spent the majority of the day "de-ricing" the car. I wish I would have took some pics of it before hand, but I just got a bit excitied I guess?.. lol





So this is what it came out like.. I painted the 17in Konig rims that it came with.



The body is fairly straight and the paint is pretty decent, obviously its a repaint and I'm not a big fan of blue but hey atleast its all the same color



I cut the H&R sport springs and turned them into H&R race springs, lol



I need to get a new set of headlights and corner lights, amber jdm style just for steve =)



Inside is pretty clean, couple white faced gauges that need to go.



Heres the rare OBD1 ZC engine, it seems pretty decent. It has a P74? or P75? LS ecu. Kinda runs like ***, but no big deal.

For 1000 bucks I'm pretty happy, I honestly couldnt pass up the deal, I know I said I was done with hondas.. which I kinda am in a way. No more dumping thosands and thosands of dollars into. But If I can get sweet deals like this, ---- I can turn around and make some money quick =)

So I already talked to lots of the NW crew and were gonna do a quicky HMT install on this biatch. Maybe 2 weeks on a Sunday. I'll letcha guys know.

The blue is bright. Maybe some window tint will make it less shocking.
Very nice for a grand, but I still think you're boss made his lunch money off it. I'd punch him in the ear.

oH, I sent Justin my stock corner lights and I'm sure he still has them. I just ordered my mad rare corners from some nignog on HT that sells them all the time. $25 shipped.

 

I like it.. who installs obd1 zc's.. thats nuts..but any how some one has came almost full circle.. back with a zc again heh

Wow, wish I could find deals like that. The blue looks kinda like the daytona blue used on 350z's. But good looking car nonetheless.
