was working on my sister's car and the valve cover bolt's tips broke inside the head. I was wondering is there any kind of sealant that would work temperately till I am able to fix this problem or take it to someone to fix it.
By sealant, I'm referring to putting it around the valve cover so that the oil won't escape.

Also, any idea how much this would cost to fix at a Honda dealer or a private specialty shop? Yes, of course I will call on Monday and find out, but i need some kind of rough estimate for now.

Any help will greatly be appreciated.

just plug the hole with a bolt and nut, put sealent all over it.

 

What kinda sealant? I'm thinking that wont' work since all freaken 5 bolts are broken

 

i didnt understand the situaton, but jb weld and silicon are most likely your two best friends this weekend

i broke one on my valve cover and just put it back in with a little JB love around the top so that it wouldn't leak.

Yah i realize that, i'm trying to figure out how to fix this crap now. I got one out but the rest just don't want to come out at all.
