I bought a crx with a zc it had a few problems when i bought it, but it was cheap. the car is running rich and i do not know why. at high rpms it will misfire. the factory tach stoped working. and last night the car stopped running, the engines rpms climbed up and then stalled. then the car would not start. i can hear the main relay cliclking and the fuel pump going. please help.

 

the relay is clicking? hmmm, check your grounds. as for it revving up for no reasons , try adjusting your valves.
did you also check the timing?

the misfire was a defective rpm chip from msd changed that out and the car goes to red line with out issues. but it is running rich, i hooked up an A/F gauge and it stayed rich. changed the o2 sensor and FPR nothing. sometimes i can smell gas. i have new ground wires.
i have a spare motor to pulled parts off of.
