Well, I ordered some absinth a while back from www.czechabsinth.com and is was fantastic. I was just wondering if anyone knew any other good site and/or good absinths to get, pref with a high wormwood content. The czechabsinth site was good, but since it came from the Czech Republic, it took a lil more than a month to come. Comon, I kno you Canadians know something

 

We got some from a buddy that goes to Czech all the time for work, it was like $12 for a 750ml bottle. It was alright, but I think the wormwood content was low, cuz I was drinking it straight and like 4 shots was barely noticeable. (140 proof btw). I know there are some locals in Minneapolis that make it (illegal), but supposidly it's got way more kick.

i know a little bit about absnith but could someone explain, why is it so "good" and what it does? i remember on the simpson's homer drank it and went crazy. is it illegal in the us? and is it anything like ever clear?

 

No more than normal drugs or alcohol, just watch the quantity.

 

It has wormwood, which is a hallucinagen, it basically messes you up real good, but safely , or something

 

The one i ordered was 120 proof, wormwood wasnt too high, I drank about 5 AA's and was gone, but noticable difference, but not a whole lot. BTW AA is absinth and aftershock

i do in canada all the time, i think i told him about it in the first place lol we were talking about how you can posses it but not have it for retail. best stuff is in the czech republic its a drug over there plain and simple.

 

ya u told me about it, but is the canadian any better than czechabsinth.com?? like is there a website or anyting i can browse? cuz i didnt rea;lly trip last time i drank it., but maybe i need to drinkmore
