Well, last night was the first time i've ever had my car broken into. I guess I should consider myself lucky...? The ------- morons stole the $100 XM Radio, stripped the antenna wire (it's a bitch to re-route), and left the $500 receiver in dash. What the ----? On top of that, after I reported the radio stolen, it can never be re-activated again. So they basically got dick. What ------- idiots. On the other hand I have a smashed window, no tint, and no XM. On the ONE DAMN NIGHT I leave my car outside; figures.

Those are some stupid thieves, but it's not a good idea to leave ANYTHING that even LOOKS like it might be of value in your car. I feel pretty confident that nobody will ever break into my car to steal anything, because there really isn't anything in there to steal unless they know something about cars/hondas and want my ECU or my tach.

When did this happen? My car got broken into on fiday night for the first time ever and its pretty bad. They stole my head unit, type s bov, and my wastegate. Not only that but they broke the bezel and heater controls dont work. They bent the ---- out off the metal supports in the dash. Total of damages was over $1200.

 

that almost tops when they stole my old car, had it for 3 days, and all they stole was the air filter

my del sol got broken into and my tv got stolen well thats what i get for being a ricer and having a tv in a car

 

its funny, ive never had anything stolen from me.

 

a couple weeks ago dru was working on his car and while he was under it somebody just walked up took all his tools and took off. he was like ten feet away from his tools. and another time i guess he left the door to his car unloked or something but he had my laptop and his camera in the car and all they took was two dollars in change out of the ashtray.

 

This happened last night (Sunday night) around 20 am. I woke up, the dogs were barking... I thought they just had to take a dump so I took them outside... I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE THE CAR but then again I was sleepy. The alarm must have shut off by itself because the thief didn't disable it. It was a BMW with central locking... meaning that if the car is locked from the outside, you can't unlock it even if you hit the "unlock" button inside the car (breaking the window for example).. It must be a major pain to try to rip off a stereo while leaning in through the car window. :-D But something else I realized... i'm damn lucky they didn't think to use the garage door opener in the car.
