how the ---- do you get the secondary black cover off the dizzy? the rotor is keeping it on and i dont want to ---- around too much.

 

take the rotor off.

ummm take the set screw out....you sure you should be working on this thing

 

DONT STIP THE SET SCREW. I did and it was a pain in the ***.

 

turn the crank pulley or take the wires off the cap and crank the motor till you can see the screw.

 

wow the respect i had is now fading fast.... u need to blip the starter until the metal pickup is at a 90 degree pointing towards the front f the car.. then the set screw is visible from behine the cap.. unscrew it.

pull rotor off, and the black covor will come too.

 

Come one Jeremy I have faith in your since your mani install. Just sit back have a smoke and get that thing done. Just think it through.

 

Impact driver, like you use on the brake rotor screws.

What do you do when the screw is out, but the rotor siezed to the shaft/
