Well I never tried to weld aluminum before and Tranceminister wanted some ITB's welded together so I made the effort. Steve made all the cuts and angles. All I did was weld it together. Welding aluminum is a bit more difficult than I expected.





What do you think Steve? Not bad. I know you are cutting them down so it they aren't perfectly straight it not that big a deal.

ya, aluminum welding is hard. i was watching my dads friend re weld the tabs on my intercooler and it looks like a bitch.

Oh damn, I have a thread started about this? Now I have to keep the little writeup going. Yeah Dave those look awesome. I think Dave TIG welded those as well, making it that much more difficult. I can do aluminum MIG but the spool guns we have at my work are way to big to fit in between those runners. Dave has skills and even though he told me he'd never tried aluminum welding, I had 100% confidence in him. Glad you could try your hand at it on one of my projects Dave. "thumbs up"
