we turbo'd my brothers car this is the setup
d16z6 , hf mani, fmu 8:1 , ihi rhb5, 3 check valves , inter cooler, 2 1/4 full exhaust, bov, stealth oil kit, boost gage , msd cap and blaster coil, ngk wires , denso iridium plugs.
now for some reason the car is ideling real low and hesitates when giving it gas and runs like ---- until the check engine light comes on and theb it drives good. we checked for vacuum leaks, changed o2 sensor, cleaned the iacv ,cleaned the fitv and still the car runs and idles like ---- . when the check engine light comes on it drives fine.I tried every thing I can think of so I ask if any one knows what might be wrong.sorry for the long post

I tried getting a code Im not sure If I did it right but I got one solid cel.I mean the bitch would just cut on and stay on .it didnt blink or any thing.I jumped a wire to the little plugs under the dash.one is brown and the one thats next to it (this is how I do it in my ac)

Take the check valves out, take the FMU out get your ECU chipped and run UberData. It's much less of a hassle.

 

yeah. I told my brother that from the start cause Im running uber on my integra. it runs fine until I shut it off and have to wait like 30 minutes to turn it back on and thats why I think he went with the fmu .less headaches he thought.another thing is thats his only car and it takes time to get it chipped an all but I think Im going to give projekteg a holla.still and all these little problems hes having I dont think would have to do with the fmu but then again Im no genius

 

im geusssing the reason for you having to wait 30 minutes to start your car again would be your main relay, mine did the same thing and i hated it, replaced main relay and no more problems, so tell ur bro to run uberdata

 

haha you have to wait 30 mins, your cars fucked too... tell him to add more check valves. you need 4 in a row then a 8 inch gap then 1 last check valve right by the map sensor. maybe its seeing boost and it doesn't like that.. a chipped ecu should work flawless, close to stock besides the fact that it adds fuel under boost. ur car's broken as well as ur bro's. good luck
