Prelude Turbo Setup dsm
Alright, im wanting to boost my prelude f22a1 engine and Ive read soo many posts about the project but I am doing things a little differently and want to know what I should do to run a safe engine management with about 6-7 pounds of boost, how to do it.
So far I have a 1st gen BOV, a 92 auto (t13 i believe, the tdo4) turbo, injectors off the auto 92 (i think their tan top...370cc), and the stock dsm intercooler but im going to get a larger one.
I really want to know how I can lower the boost on the stock wastegate, I know you have to bend them in towards the turbo but how far to get around 6-7 pounds of boost, my car is going to be a daily driver so I want some power, not everything. ALso, do I need to run just the oil line on the turbo since they have both coolant and oil lines. Ive heard of doing either or, whats ur take?
Finally what should I do about the engine management, Ive heard of chipping the ecu and doing hondata, how much would that cost me, I just want something reliable and Im not a hard driver, so any replies would be AWESOME, thanks alot
