Default is this turbo to big? t3 w/80hot &60 cold

i have a 89 hb w/ gsr and i was wondering if this turbo would be too big?? if it didnt spool till 5k-6k, that would be perfect as long as itll pull to red line. my gsr has a ls crank w/type R pistons, so im sure the compression up a little from a stock gsr, would this HELP? keep in mind im only looking to run 6-8psi.thanks for any input.

damn, that is definately to big for what you want. Just about anything is smaller than that thing.

a t25 for a gsr motor? i think your compression ratio is a little on the high side though. considering an ls crank in a stock gsr would bump it into the high 11's. then with ITR pistons your probably in the 12's which isnt gonna be good for high boost. but if your gonna do 6-8 that turbo might be out of its efficiency range. i would just get a .60 hot and .63 cold. but thats just me

yeah if you can find another t3 that will mate up to your center section then yes. if not just find one that'll work.
