TINY Turbo
So I was down at the junkyard this weekend looking for CRX parts. After to my dismay I found out they didn't have ANY crx's (not even 1st gen) I went looking for turbos. After wandering for some time I found a 84 plymoth colt with TURBO written in big letters all over it. So I looked under the hood, and there was nothing really there. A closer look, however, revealed that a heat shield was just hiding the smallest turbo I had ever seen. - I have a IHI RHB5 on my car and this thing is like twice as small as it.
I took it off and brought it home - here it is:
All the inlets and outlets are 1.75" and the wastegate hole has been welded closed.

I've seen some people looking for small turbos and I thought this was a good find. What do you think?
The design is weird - you can't see compressor blades, when you look in the holes, you see a 19mm bolt and a hole. Idk.

that is very weird, but whats more fucked up is a welded shut WG haha...how does you IHI perform anyways? i wanna use an IHI and i would like to know when it kicks in and hits full boost plus where it dies out at? thanks.
Ya, I think I might end up returning it and getting a bigger one.
I love the IHI - I'm running it on my Hf which has a 5500 rpm redline so it's perfect.
It's full boost at about 2500 with a quick spool. It starts falling off at about 5k. When I get turboedit and raise my redline a bit we'll see how it goes.
