MIG welding ok?
I want to build my own log type manifold, DP, charge piping, etc. Unfortunately, if I go drop a grand on a TIG welder my old lady is probably gonna set me on fire. I can talk her into letting me buy a MIG though.
Would it be ok to use a MIG welder to build a manifold?

I drop 2500 bones on this lil puppy and I am still hiding it from my old lady. 
Gotta love seperate bank accounts. 
Oh yeah, if you don't know what this is. It's a Miller Dynasty 200DX Tig/Stick welder. This my Most expensive tool I ever spent in my life, but it's well worth it.

hey.. my dad has a welder in our barn that he uses occasionally.. uses sticks... not reallly sure what kind this is... never had the time to play with it.. its old as hell but it still works b/c he welds up on tractors and ---- all the time.. anybody know what kind this might be?? and some how to info on welding would be nice.. i think i can do my own piping and ---- if i can learn how to weld..
