Default Self Contained Oiling System?

Hey guys, I am new to the forum and I have got a question for anyone that can share some knowledge with me. I am setting up a supercharger on my car and I have been thinking hard lately about running a seperate oiling system just for the supercharger. I like that idea better than running it off the motors oil. Does anyone know of any kits available for something like this? Also, if anyone could share any experience they may have had with something like this, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

umm what type of supercharger requires oil lines?? I thought the majority of supercharger's have self contained oiling systems.

Lots of superchargers require oil lines. I will be using a Vortech T-trim.

Why don't you go turbo?

I'd say make life easy on yourself and just run the oiling system off the motor. There's really no need for a separate oiling system and in reality taking it off the motor would probably be more reliable anyways

Thanks, but that's not what I was asking.

There are no kits, run it from the motor.

That is a little different from what I am looking for. I still need to pump oil through, but I would rather not tap off the engine. With a sump, pump, and lines, I can run what ever PSI I want at all times and I can run it even after shutting off the car.

you just answered your own question :P get a sump a pump and some lines and just have the return go back to the sump, or are you looking for someone that sells a kit like this? it would be easy to put it together yourself.

I'd like to find a kit just because I like to "plug and play". I could build one, but I have not been able to find an external oil pump for less than $600. I'll continue to do more searching and research and see what I can do. Thanks,
