came home from school and was driving around and making some movies to post when after 2 nice pulls, it started jerking a little under load. i took it easy coming home. wasn't super worried since it didn't make any sudden jerks or noises. it didn't even make a noise idling. it seemed to be missing on 1 cylinder so i checked and sure enough, #3 isn't firing. ran a compression check and all the others are around 185, but #3 is reading 30 at best.....----. i've never blown an engine so i'm not sure what to expect. it just doesn't really add up.

headgasket or valve or something? what do you guys think?

Burning anything?, Coolant or Oil? Could be the gasket, could be your rings, I dont think its your valves.
pull the head tomorrow let us know and please take some pics.

well it doesn't appear to be smoking. it did smell bad like burnt oil.

can i tell if it's ringlands without pulling the head?

won't have time to do that until at least 2 weeks, i'm only home for today and saturday.
