so yeah, i gotta get this rust fixed, and i got a pic of my custom FMIC

 

nasty cancer there. i had my crx painted a couple years ago and there was rust i didn't even know was there. the guys did a pretty good job of fixing it though, no cheese, they welded everything up with new steel. who ever had painted the car before just put filler in all the holes.

 

well im gonna be selling this thing this week, so i think im just gonna give it the quick fill and paint treatment

 

there really is no 100% way to cure rust, unless you put a new panel in there.

if you do fix that, sand the area all the way to the metal, and sand it out about 8-10" from the spot. I would bet money there is rust about 8 inches away from the rusted spot.

 

this car will hopefully be sold this week, so i dont care i got bigger plans ATM.
