my computer is acting 100% gay right now. so much spyware its crazy. i have ran mcafee like 3 times, and i have ran ad-ware, but now im gettin trojan virus' left and right.

my question, can I put in those system re-boot discs and just restore the C drive? I am running win XP.

I saved everything I need that was on the C drive, but i put all of my programs such as photoshop on the D drive. can I just reboot the C drive?

 

Yes you can. You should format the drive when asked.

Yes, you could. That should get rid of the problem (even temporarily).

 

Err, kinda read it wrong. How about you reformat both drives, and just install those programs again? If you downloaded those off of the internet one of them might be the source of your problems

I reset the computer date in the system restore and no trojan detections yet, but the PC is running a little slow, and i still have some ------ pop-ups. I havent had popups for a long as time now.

yeah, but i dont understand all of that ----. maybe when i get to japan, i will try something totally different, but for now, i think IE is working just fine.

Firefox does own internet explorer.. I hate when people use IE on my computer, it brings up so much crap its unbelievable..
