I passed by the dealership today and there was a tiny little car there. Its called a Smart. For some reason I liked it. They have 3 models, one being a 3cyl. turbo roadster at only $15,500. Go to www.smart.com and check them out. Let me know what you guys think

Oh, and the roadster weighs in at just over 1700lbs.

um... they sell em like hot cakes in europe. someone in greece as a turbo one. i think they have 00cc engines?
the msart is for fuel economy.

 

They are in the US now, but it must be limited. I know its for fuel economy, but so was the CRX HF and look at what people do to that. The roadster looks pretty good and is very light. Could be a good starting platform.

 

i saw somewhere that said they run like 12 sec 1/4 miles stock or some ----, can't say i beleive it
