I thought I heard that the manis werent that bad if you strenghtend the welds plus I thought Id be saving some money since it came with a down pipe and external wastegate flange and all gaskets ,bolts etc..I spent $280 on my hks t25 mani and $150 on my down pipe

You know your stuff is bad when the HMT people wont even buy it.lol. 
I admit it is pretty tempting so im kinda neutral on this one
i think i'd might take a chance and brace it but on the other hand i could also get a hf mani cheaper, stronger and realiable with adapter plate and still not spend half of that
. Leaves plenty money for a downpipe.

why buy that mani, then have to go through the hasstle of welding it yourself or pay someone to do it, when its most definetly gonna crack again.
if you buy that mani you will have to reweld every weld on that thing. and the steel they use is thin and crappy. would you want to keep having to unbolt and bolt it back on everytime the damn thing broke... so ask your self again, it it worth it? it's up to you
