Hey this is my first post but im a regular on turbod16

I live in Connecticut and im looking for anyone interested in helping me out in installing my turbo setup on my 99 civic ex. I have everything i need for the install minus the experience. (and the uberdata tune) So im hoping thats where some of you guys can come in--

are there any install days coming up? if not could we set one up for CT/MA/NY people? it'll be alot of help -- i talked to CSaddict and he said that people on here are a bunch of help and most likely they can help me out. Thanks alot.

 

When i recieve my turbo from ssl2k god knows when ill be doing an install as well I lack the experience but me and a few buddies are going to set aside a weekend to do it so we will see how it goes but i doubt I'd be much help to ya.

 

bermenator is that you againlol man im sure me, josh, dave and pretty much everyone in the NE will help you but last time we did that we spent all day long putting this kids turbo kit on and after that never heard from him again. id probably be down to helping you out, but lets see what the other guys have to say

 

I put him up to this post. He's a good guy. We would love to help you out with your install. Get all your parts together then post what you have so we can see if it will all work first( unlike Bermanators) and we will schedule a date. Make sure you set aside money you can bring for anyhting we need to go get like pipe couplings or beer.

So post up your complete list of parts so far.

 

ight man, i know josh would get pissed off if another bermanator happened. but yea man once you get all your parts, list it, and you gotta have like a spare 150-200 bux just incase. o and youll be buying all of us food and beer

Hey.. okay this is what i have:

99 civic ex d16y8


virgin p28 ecu
rc440 injectors + obd1 clips
conversion harness for obd1 ecu to be used in obd2b car


t3 turbo with .42/.48 ar oil cooled internally gated
log style mani, 2.25" downpipe that will clear AC (however AC fan will have to be relocated)
intercooler piping
HKS BOV on the pipe
oil feed and return line
Stock oil pan (i dont have the fitting)
FMIC that measures 30x9x3 inches
boost gauge
turbo timer (Greddy)
greddy 2 b boost controller

and a BLUE BOX ! :]

all silicone couplers are there already but i might need extras?

I will most likely need some sort of slim fan for the radiator, miscellaneous little fittings, maybe a slim AC fan (or just make it so that the downpipe clears it).. umm a fitting for the oil pan and i'd like a oil catch can maybe i can get one from somewhere before the install occurs.

I dont mind paying for food etc as long as its not TOO ridiculous.. i dont drink so um i dont know about the beer-- But if you guys want it go ahead, i'll just pay for whatever u guys want i guess
