I have a brand new set of ARP head studs I will sell you. I ordered an extra set and just never returned them. I will give you a couple bucks off, so I know you wont find a better deal anywhere else. Let me know if your interested.

Oh and your head is not lifting, so don't think the ARP head studs will help you. Your blowing head gaskets because the sleeves are walking/shifting under heavy load. You will need to back yout timing down to fix the problem... it's all about timing.

Here is a good thread to read with more info.

Here is another thread. Pay attention to TurbodCX's reply on the 2nd page.

How exactly are head studs installed?

Do you just handtighten in the stud, then put one nut 1/2"down and then follow that with another one until it goes ontop of the stud and then when you keep spinning the top one on a wrench, the bottom one prevents it from going down so the whole stud will just continue turning in?

Just go until the stud bottoms out? Take off the nut, drop on the head and then torque them down?

Correct?

No, but close. You have the right idea, but you need to take both nuts off if you are using the double nut method to thread the studs in. Or you can thread them in the block using a stud socket. Then apply the supplied arp moly lube on the threads, drop on the washer and 12 point nut, and torque the head in the proper sequence. Oh and make sure you use the arp torque spec not the honda head bolt spec.
