I'm going to make my manifold, but I can't get a flange for the D-series here for a good price...so Beau you are experienced with welding cast iron flanges to downpipes etc.
If I cut off a D-series manifold flange en weld it to the manifold tubes...will it hold?

I wouldnt recommend it..

Contact that guy Typert or whatever that sold some in our classifieds, I bought a few d-series head flanges for like 15-20 bucks a piece.
