anyone happen to know if their is much in the line of cams, cam gears, intake mani's, and things of that sort for these motors yet?

My friend has an 02 SI with the k20a3 in it. He'd like to do a set of cam's and an intake mani, but hasn't had much luck finding anything so far.

 

This would be for an NA motor right? If the head components (cams, valvetrain) in the RSX-S motor are interchangeable with the Si and what not (not sure if they are), then TODA makes an "engine kit" that's supposed to work wonders for the K20. It also supposedly requires no tuning since the ECU is supposed to be sent in for a reflash. I'm a little sketchy on how successful this is, but it netted 57.5 whp with I/H/E according to the TODA website.

 

toda kit will not work on the si motor. Really nothin out there for them except hondata reflash/i/h/e and of course tb/ port work.

 

yeah this is kinda of what ive found so far...

skunk2 has cams listed for it on their website but its all in the "coming soon" stage.

and yes, he wants to stay all motor on this car, he has talked about getting an a2 head from the rsx, apparently thats a popular head swap for those.

 

Ya plus skunk2 when they say soon means 2006+ look how long there manifolds for the h/d motors took and the H doesnt even fit hybrids so his options are slim but if he wants to make power he has to get the reflash

 

I figured... on the website it doesn't say anything about the Si motor being an option for the kit. You can always suggest that your buddy just get some really good bolt ons, a reflash, and shoot a low shot of NOS until something comes out :P
