umm, any dub including mk1's that had rear discs can donate rear discs to your car. It has a big enough master cylinder and the proportioning works well for disc or drum so go the junkyard find a ------- gli or carat or junky mk2 (most common) and nab the whole spindle assembly, it will bolt on to your car after you yank out your drums, maybe repack the bearings and call it a day, it's easier to swap out drums for discs then to do a drum pad job on these cars.

ya gotta bend your brake lines slightly but they don't need replacing and you need disc brake e-brake cables for your year of car

but since you couldn't figure that out there's not a chance in hell you're gonna be able to do it, go find a kit or a shop somewhere and pay $400 for it, when $50 at the yard would do it

i got a bunch of turbo vw friends. one of them has had a new dimensions turbo kit on his 2.0 golf for a long time now. on 9 psi it is dead even wiht my friends very worked mk3 jetta glx vr6. the only problem we have ever had with his turbo 2.0 is his oil line dryrotten and cracked open at waterfest last year. it was a 5 dollar and 45 minute fix
