i need a favor

if someone with a b-series could look at the bolt and washer that holds on the shift stabilizer bar to the trans and give me the specs on it ASAP that would be a huge help to me. The one on my B16 decided it didnt like its home and would rather find a new one somewhere in the street today

its a 12 mm fool
use a 12mm from someother honda part itll fit, the washer can be anything

thanks hotsex but the reason i need the size is because im up at school with no tool or spare bolts, so i gotta go buy a few and try them

you could just wedge a stick in there

did you not put loctite on the bolt when you put it back together? vibrations are killer

nah no loctite, ive done this a ton of times and never had to (i just rigged up a new bolt until i get home, then ill get some loctite)

12 mil is the head size, not the bolt size. hotrex told me once, "its a 17mm bolt" it wasnt a 17mm bolt. 17mm is a big bolt.

but I dunno what size it is, i just wouldnt go off of hotsex's word.
