I have a 90 chevy s-10 with a small block in it and like 3 or 4 push rods are bent and 3 dry lifters dry lifters... should I replace the motor all together and if so does anyone here know where one is at a decent price? or should I jus put some new lifters and pushrods in there? Im not exactly what we call a mechanic so and help and input is appreciated. thanks.

 

I would just get a cam kit with lifters and a set of push rods. Thats not a huge deal to do. While your at it throw a set of roller rockers in and a new timing chain.

But yea i think thats prolly the best bet cam pushrods lifters and while im at it roller rockers and a new timing chain is prolly a good idea I want a decent running vehicle and a import that I can sooner or later have boosted. You guys got me addicted jus reading this ---- daily. I WANT POWER I WANT SPEED. ---- looks how does that ---- matter when the car who thinks its fast is way fuckign behind you.

 

you should go from the 1.5 rockers to the 1.6, you will get a lil more lift
