Well I guess the timing belt finally snapped. And I can't afford to pay someone to do it so I will be doing it on my own. What do I need to do to get to the timing belt? Anything I should watch out for? What tools will I need? Before anyone says go get a the honda manual, I would but I don't have a car or any spare money to buy it with. So just help your post count and help me out while your at it. Thanks.

 

The hard part is going to be the crank pulley. A big air gun would make it easy. The rest is cake.

Loosen alternator bracket
Unbolt crank pulley
Remove upper motor mount
Take timing covers off
Loosen tensioner
Remove belt(or I guess since yours snapped you won't have to)

Reverse steps to install. Make sure you align the belt right at TDC.

On the cam there is a marking for tdc right? Hey thanks Dr. Boost for the help.

 

The cam gear should have an "UP" marked on it and lines on the side that you line up with the head mating surface. Usually "UP" isn't directly 100% vertical so just make sure it's pointing up and use the lines on the side for reference.
