I've got a boosted 89 CRX hf with the weak d15b6 motor. Recently I got a d16a1 engine off a 89 integra.

I was looking at my intake manifold, and ompared to the d16a1 manifold that thing is tiny! Especially with turbo I bet that thing restricts a whole bunch of airflow.

I was wondering if I would be able to put the d16a1 intake manifold on my d15b6 head? I'm guessing your're gonna have to do some port matching, but how about the throttle body? will it fit? Are there any other things I need to worry about? They look basically the same, one's just a little bigger.

 

No. Different bolt patterns.

can just always upgrade to a skunk2 manifold or the d16a6.

 

It's an 8 valve head only good thing is the shortblock the head goes in the garbage

 

put the d16a1 head on the d15. it works trust me.

I have 2 ZC1 head's(similar to D16A1 with different cams)
one is going on a ZC1 block the other I might put it on a D15 block....
