no ----. It can spool a T3/T4 about like that.

that's normal for that turbo.

 

You are talking about the compressor, it really doesn't matter what the cmopressor is...it's the turbine that matters. On a B16 a t3 .48/.60 will spool at about 3000 but it will run out a little before the top of your tach. A t3 .63/.60 will spool at about 4000, just like he said. Although the compressor can have some effect on spool time, the TURBINE is what determines 95% of it.

 

I ran a T3 .60 trim/.48 on my B18B and it spooled about 3000 and hit full boost (10psi) by 4000. Now running a T3/T4E with the same results.

 

What size turbine?

 

Same as in your signature but it's not the stage two. .57trim /.48
