Hey whats up guys....im at a cross road here...i need to know which turbo you guys think would be best for my ls/vtec or a cr/vtec that im going to build next month...i want to buy this in the next 2 days so please help me out.

Im opting for the t3 super 60/.63 a/r turbo since its 110 cheaper with the internal wastegate...my goal is 300whp and i would like a turbo that has full boost at 4k rpms with a start up around 3200 to 3500. I will be revving to 8500 rpms max. I know both turbos are capable of 300 plus whp but i want to know which one will give me better flow and which one will give me more hp at 12psi...i dont want to have to boost 14psi on one turbo just to get the same effect with 12psi from the other one...catch my drift?

before you buy a turbo build your motor first. by the time your done you will have gained alot of knowledge on turbos and will be able to pick one for YOUR engine.

you still dont know if your gonna build a 1.8 or 2.0 liter engine. so i would keep my options open and save your money for the build. your gonna need it .=) 0.02 dave

 

both turbos are capable of 300+ hp. save your money. you can always upgrade the compressor at a later time.

 

well i have an LS block already. but id really like to find a crv bottom end cause id love to have a 2L motor instead. If i cant find one soon for 500 or under here locally then im gonna build the ls bottom end.

p.s. thanx for the info. I think if i got with the ls im going to get the super 60 t3....if i get the b20 bottom end im going to buy the t3/t04e. You guys make sense. thanx
